The Ice Age - Timeline Tuesday and History day!

We believe in the power of words, they can either speak life or death! SO when our family gets hit with constant amounts of colds and viruses we have a saying....
"we are sick and tired of being unwell and sleepy!!!"
It's a funny thing to say but its the truth as we hit another week of one of our treasures being unwell!
Last week it was Hannah, beginning this week it was Sophia and now as of today Zeke has the hot and colds!! OHhh dear it certainly is that time of year!!!!!

On an up side we looked at the Ice Age on Tuesday for History and timeline Tuesday!! It was wonderful, we all had heaps of fun and I've got some cool ideas of what we can do while people are getting their strength back......

just got this from the library as it has pages on The Ice Ages!

Either way we are taking things easy and with the rain outside I think the Ice Age Movies will be rented very soon for some popcorn and movie time!!! Yippee to that!!

Make your own funny face game

The other afternoon the children (Well Ezekiel and Hannah) made up this build a face game on the chalkboard! It was totally awesome, I loved their creativity!! They got the idea from HERE when we played this game around Easter time. It was great to see all the different faces they came up with!

Chalk picture for Mummy

Today Esther drew a picture of Me on the chalkboard, I'm going out shopping, I have a bag and one I've left in the sky she told me, I also have some ear-rings and a dress and shoes and well, as you can see there is a lot of concentration going on for the final result!!!

It really blessed me!! I needed that today and her hugs and her love! It's been a very tricky, hard week! Roll on the long weekend, relaxing and no school and hopefully a happy baby!!

Star Wars drawing

We have a GIANT white board and I finally got around to getting some white board markers for it. The children have been having a super fun time drawing and doodling on it! Funny how a new medium can bring out a new flare of art for them all!!!
Ezekiel in particular has been getting busy drawing some of his favourite Star Wars things, so here are a few!
