We are now up to day six with more Lego Christmas fun and today you can
build an easy Holly and berry wreath!
Here are the bits you will need:
Start off with this red slide plate
Now put some of the red "berries" on the green branches
Attach branches to the red slide plate
Finish it with the final round red plate and the last branch!
Wreath now done!! YAY!
Do you know that in the Edwardian time decorating your home was very important in the Christmas season especially with the very popular holly and berries!! However it was said "Holly, the very prettiest and most Christmas-like of all adornments, does undoubtedly scratch and tear....." so the writer of the time warns that "Beauty at Christmas will not pay for the ugliness all year round!
Holly is best therefore in bouquets for jars and vases!!"
