{DIY} Lego Advent Calendar Day 4 - Log and grate

Day four is all about keeping warm (for those of you in the Northern Hemisphere) with a clever design by Zeke of a log and grate!! He's inspiration was from "How the Grinch stole Christmas" by Dr Seuss  where in the story
The last thing he took
Was the log for their fire!
Then he went up the chimney, himself , the old liar!

So here are the pieces you need:

Firstly put together all the brown round pieces 

(umm not sure of the proper name of these, Zeke's not here to tell me tonight!!)

Now for the grate part....get the two 3x1 flat bricks and build 

onto that the 2x4 flat, then add a 2x2 brick and lastly the smooth top

 

 

 

 These are the pieces you need 

to create the fancy sides for the grate 

(and to help hold the log in!)

Now you're ready to get warm and toasty!!YAY!
