Nursery Rhyme Unit study week #7 - Goosey, Goosey Gander

When we studied this rhyme it was just after Easter, so it worked well to go with the theme of eggs and after all Geese lay eggs!
Hannah chose this rhyme and found it very interesting the HISTORY HERE and HERE behind it. I borrowed lots of wonderful picture books from the Library for the little girls on Geese which I read each day of the week and we went out and found a goose at one of the local parks. It was soooo cool to study how it moved compared to the ducks and how big it was. It was super cool to have one so close and brought the whole week together!
